L&D is far too often associated with crappy mandatory training. Sure we can ‘get rid of boring mandatory training’, but that kind of misses the point.
We are professionals who empower others to change, adapt, perform and innovate. That should make us central to today’s disruptive business world but all too often that ‘transformative’ nature of our offer is lost within the transactional.
Yes, we have to deliver on the transactional and do it well. But, we really, really need to go beyond that. Here’s a bit of road map of what that involves. And don’t forget that I consult — so do reach out if you want support on your journey to deliver more value.
